Training-Career:-

He had been the Check Pilot, Flying Instructor/DGCA, Govt. of India Examiner on HS 748, BOEING 737 and AIRBUS A300 simultaneously. He has a credit of training more than 2000 Indian & Overseas Pilots. It so happened that every other Pilot had been a trainee of Capt. S N Reddy sometime or other on the entire fleet of Indian Airlines. In fact, He had been an Instructor and Examiner on all the Aircrafts concurrently: It is one of the rarest of the rare feat. Has more than 25, 000 hours of flying experience and training to his credit.

Technical Positions held:

  • Aviation Advisor and Special Secretary to Government of A.P.
  • Technical Advisor to Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India.
  • Aviation Advisor to GMR International Airports Hyderabad Limited
  • Responsible in selecting the site and giving plans for establishing International Airport at Shamshabad, is a Pilot friendly Airport having no obstructions and full runway is available for take-off and landing.
  • Advised for the wide body Airbus A-380 Aircraft to land at Begumpet Airport during Air show.
  • Secretary & CEO of Andhra Pradesh Aviation Academy and subsequently to “Telangana State Aviation Academy” and made the Academy the winner of “Best Aviation Academy” award for 12 years by Aero Club of India/ Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India and the Academy is No. 1 in the country and brought pride for AP and Telangana State.
  • His divergent thinking brought Academic education into Aviation industry for the first time in India by introducing B. Sc. & M. Sc. Aviation courses in collaboration with colossal Universities of Hyderabad.
  • He is responsible for the increase of age limit of a Pilot from 60 to 65 years.
  • He was responsible in making Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course eligible for the admission into NALSAR University’s MA (Aviation Law)
  • His ideas have shown the solution in the selection of Ground Instructors by making CPL holders eligible in the place of ATPL holders.
  • His articles have laid roots to the concept of Regional Air Connectivity in Telangana & AP.
  • He was given “Indhira Gandhi Sadbhavana Award” by LT. Gen. (rtd.) M.M Lakhera Governor of Mizoram.
  • He was given an International Award as “Legend in Aviation” in Daton, Ohio, USA.
